Animal Embroidery Workbook: Step-by-Step Techniques and Patterns for 30 Cute Critters and More by Jessica Long

Animal Embroidery Workbook by Jessica Long is a wonderful craft book on everything you want to know to learn how to create fun animal shapes in embroidery. You'll learn pattern transfer techniques as well get detailed stitch directions. The animal designs range from very easy outlines to more advanced fill-in designs.

All the patterns in the book are shown in the back of the book to copy and resize for any sized hoop.

I loved this book. Not only were the patterns fun and actually doable, but even the simple ones had enough work for the advanced sewer. My favorite section: the chapter on Beginner Thread Painting Critters was wonderfully detailed.
